Glare Goods started as an experiment in sustainability and craft in the summer of 2019. Our goal was to make art using materials that already existed as a way to cut down on our own carbon footprint and encourage others to be more environmentally conscious.

As partners in art and in life we spend a lot of time together perusing through Richmond, Virginia’s secondhand scene; be that salvage yards, thrift stores, or online market places (even sometimes alleyways). After noticing the number of mirrors that go unwanted due to small chips or cracks, glass seemed like the perfect medium to express ourselves.

At the moment we are just a two person operation (husband and wife team!) hoping to give new life to old things. We can’t wait to share what’s next.
